The Hall of the Year Academic is an international competition for students of technical universities in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree studies organized under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague, prof. Ing. Jiří Máca, CSc., and the Czech Chamber of Chartered Engineers and Technicians Active in Construction.

The contestants’ task is to design and build a model of a building structure following the specific assignment instructions and then to subject it to a load test.
